This is the broad resin shelf: 61 chairs, stools and tabletops, every piece listed for patio use. Frames are resin, and most seats are too. Twenty-four pieces stack. Because chairs, stools and tops share the page, the first question is the height of the table you are seating, then which piece goes with it.

Chairs, stools and tops in one family

Frames are resin on 36 pieces and seats are resin on 35, with one fabric seat. Tops are resin on 22, with laminate on one, quartz on another, and a few more materials named on their pages. Bases are resin on six and cast iron on one. Shapes read square (14), round (13) and rectangular (13).

Prices range from $65 to $1,567, so sort before you shop. Most of the shelf sits much nearer the bottom than the top.

Because one shelf holds chairs, stools and tops, do not order from the grid picture alone. Open the page for each piece and check what it is, how tall it stands, and whether it is a top that needs a base. A slatted resin chair lists 18 inches wide, 20 deep and 34 tall, and a dark walnut resin tabletop is among the tops.

The seat height tells you what it is for

Ten pieces list seats at 18 or 17 1/2 inches. Those are dining chairs for tables 29 to 30 inches high. Nine list taller seats, five at 29 3/4 inches and four at 29 1/2, and those are stools for bar-height tables, about 40 to 42 inches. The numbers do not overlap, so a mix-up is easy to spot on paper and hard to fix on a delivered pallet.

Another resin piece lists 17 3/4 inches wide, 20 1/2 deep and 41 3/4 tall. Check its page for the seat height before you pair it with a table.

Twenty-four pieces stack and 10 have arms. Count stackers if storage space is short, and count armchairs when table edge is short.

Listed, rinsed, covered

Every piece here is listed for patio use, and 60 are listed for indoor use as well. Even so, a patio piece needs a rinse, time to drain and a cover or a stack-and-store routine when the season ends. Patio chairs, tables and stools carry a limited warranty of six months. The warranty page lists what it excludes, including furniture left uncared for.

Looking at one type of piece? Resin patio chairs and resin patio tables cut the shelf by job, and resin table tops holds the tops alone. Keep your counts in patio plans.
