116 chairs, and every one is listed for patio use. Aluminum, steel, resin, faux rattan and plastic teak make up the frames and seats, and most stack. By the first warm Saturday you will want them set, so decide material and stacking first, then the arms and the covered-patio line.
Walk the patio at 4 PM and watch where the sun lands and where the wind comes through. Mark the spots under an awning or a roof, because five of these chairs are listed for a covered patio only, and every chair here is listed for patio use. Sort the chairs by roof before you sort them by color.
Metal frames lead with 44 chairs, and aluminum follows with 25. Resin frames number 21, aluminum with a bamboo look 15 and steel 8. The seats vary: metal on 32 chairs, faux rattan on 31, resin on 22 and plastic teak on 18. None offers upholstery options, which keeps cushions out of the rain conversation.
Stacking is listed for 71 chairs, a big plus when the deck is cleared nightly, and 37 chairs have arms. The Tolix-style look shows up on 19. Prices start around $58, and the set of choices opens further on the narrower pages:
The seat heights given most often are 18 inches, then 17 1/2 and 17 3/4. They sit comfortably under a patio table of 29 to 30 inches. A patio chair that is 17 3/4 inches wide, 20 1/2 deep and 33 high tucks into a four-top without eating the aisle. Behind each chair, keep 18 to 24 inches for sliding out, and leave 36 inches for servers. Remember that a line is one configuration, so two finishes of one chair are two lines, and the order minimum is 8 pieces of tables and chairs, any mix.
Wood and upholstered chairs are not part of this page. Patio pieces still need care, and the routine is short: hose, drain and store or cover. If something arrives with a defect, report it in writing within three days of receipt, with photos of the full chair, a close-up of the defect and the labels. Pair the chairs with patio tables from the wider outdoor restaurant furniture page, and save the combination to Patio plans so you can reset the whole patio in an afternoon next spring.
